`My name is Fiavi John Paul a JHS student graduate and a proud student of juniors brain university. I first heard the news when I was back at school , I was not sure whether I would be able to join the training since there were other classes I was interested in. I joined juniors brain university because I wanted to learn a whole different skill that I have never ventured into. I wanted to acquire skills that people will pay many for and I wanted to take part in their leadership training program since I have a few confidence issues.
During the course of this program we have learnt how to use different graphic design tools in photoshop. Some of the tools are shape tool which is used for drawing varieties of shape and custom shapes[already made shapes], the select tool used for selecting elements in design for editing ,the text tool used for entering text ,changing the font, the color of font and the size of font. Next we have the align tool, it is used to determine if a text should be aligned left, aligned right , align center or justify align. We also have several tools needed to crop, examples are, the magic eraser tool, the quick selection tool and the crop tool. One of the tools that have been a real challenge to me during the program is the pen tool.
The pen tool is a tool that is used to tweak and draw shapes. When it comes to the leadership training we have learnt how to talk in public[public speaking]. We have learnt the dos and don’t when talking to people in public. We have learnt how to communicate to people above us, people at our level and people beneath us .We have also learnt the types of public speaking [persuasive, motivational, informative] and the thing that you need before you are able to deliver any of this. As of now I am able use the various tools of photoshop well enough to be able achieve designs of my own. For just this few weeks that I have been part of this program it has impacted my life immensely.
Due to this program I have been able to develop enough confidence to be able to stand in-front of people and talk to them about a topic. It has also implanted in me important life lessons that I am sure will help me in the near future. The program has also equipped me with important lessons on how to achieve success in this life. Apart from that the program has also equipped me with designing skills using photoshop . Due to this program I have learnt most of the tricks in using photoshop to perform graphic design works. As soon as I am done with this level I plan on moving to the next level of the genius IT training program whenever I get the opportunity.
